sweet tooth

b&p ingredients / delicious cakes / meringue clouds / more ingredients / tempting chocolate / lollipops

Melbourne really is the city of culinary delights. Regular followers will know that one of my favourite pastimes is testing and trying the great brunch cafes around town (you can read about them here). But a close second would have to be hunting down Melbourne's great desserts. I recently visited the Burch & Purchese Sweet Studio in Chapel St. Darren Purchese craftily combines science and sweets (an art form I have a greater appreciation of thanks to Master Chef!) to create amazing cakes, chocolates, meringues and ice creams. I can heartily endorse their violet and honeycomb ice cream and passionfruit meringue clouds- something for the real sweet tooth readers out there!
