folded eggs and the search for melbourne's best brunch

I'm sorry for the slow pace of late. It's just been that kind of week!
Here is the latest post in my search for Melbourne's best brunch spot. For my "research" this time, I headed off to the delightful  Friends of Mine in Richmond. I was quietly confident I would enjoy my brunch here as I have been very satisfied with my meals at their other eateries Porgie + Mr Jones and Snow Pony. Kicking it off with a chamomile tea and piccolo latte we then indulged in their generously sized folded eggs (to which I added their irresistible mushies) and won't deny that I had a little food envy for Ben's "hung" over- cheesy toast with poached eggs, bacon and avocado. We also had the organic OJ which comes served in a gorgeous amber bottle. The bill for this came to just under $50. Combined with the beautiful, quirky, tongue-in-cheek recycled furniture, signs, artwork and blackboard messages, I found the whole experience divine!
