love your life: straight to the point

photos courtesy of The Point and THSD

I love family celebrations and the best kind are those spent loving the moment, laughing with each other and sharing a great meal. That's just what I did last week when my family got together to celebrate my amazing grandfather's 88th birthday. We decided to make it a special occasion and treated ourselves to a lunch at The Point in Albert Park and I have to say the food was incredibly creative and completely delicious. I had Murray Cod for main and Creme Brûlée for dessert and the flavours of both dishes transported me. I have to be honest though, a had a tiny bit of food envy. When my sister ordered the banana cake I couldn't have imagined the inspired glass bowl display with a melting chocolate lid that arrived at her place! If you're visiting Melbourne or keen to try some of the best food in town whilst taking in a beautiful view of Albert Park Lake, make The Point your next stop!
