On Monday night Ben and I took a stroll through Sydney's CBD to Hyde Park to feast at the Crave Sydney Food Festival. Throughout October, the park is converted into an authentic Asian hawker-style market with an array of noodles, dumplings and desserts as well as three bars and nightly entertainment. Some of my highlights included Longrain, Agape Organic, Serendipity Natural Ice Cream, Let's Do Yum Cha and of course we couldn't go past the Rekorderlig Cider tent but you can view a full list of stalls here. We enjoyed some chinese dumplings and pear cider whilst lounging in on the Rekorderlig bean bags soaking in the festival atmosphere and beautiful spring evening.
Another 'must do' event at this festival is Breakfast on Bondi beach, happening this coming Sunday 14th October. Head to the beach for a perfect sunrise (5:45am for those who are really keen), symphony orchestra and feed with breakfast king Bill Granger and tv chef Pete Evans. I'll be posting about my amazing breakfast at Bill Granger's cafe soon!
