I love this new shirt from Sportsgirl! The print is a watercolour take on a romantic floral with bold colours. I wore it out on a date with Ben this week. We had a great Greek meal and spent some quality time together making plans and dreaming about the future.

in the mood

In winter, I am more inclined to spend my Friday nights indoors with a hot chocolate and Bloglovin' than I am to dress up and hit the town. But sometimes, when the mood is right, the rain holds off and the friends are awesome, I brave the cold and inevitably have an amazing night. I have found my Saba trench to be a complete essential this winter. It is my coat of choice and never lets me down.

It fills me with happiness to see so much fluoro coming into fashion. I love neon yellow. I pulled out this Gorman dress again on the weekend. Even though it's more of a summer dress, I couldn't resist wearing it with my new neon yellow socks from Free People.

high tea for 83

My beautiful grandma recently turned 83. To celebrate I decided to throw her a special high tea. My mum has 12 vintage tea sets that really set the scene. We had finger sandwiches (recipes below!), hot savoury food including pies, quiches and sausage rolls, cupcakes, scones with jam and cream, macarons and petit fours. We were so truly satisfied at the end of the meal!

I am so lucky to have this gorgeous Lovisa jewellery as part of my outfit today. The gold faceted bangle is my favourite but the twisted rope necklace is a great statement piece! These items are part of their new Tuxedo range- a bold range made up of black and gold pieces with subtle sparkle, collars and cuffs.
