love your body: cocao protein balls

I have accepted the inevitability of a 3pm chocolate craving during the work week. So, instead of racing to the fundraising chocolate box, I have started making myself these chocolate balls to snack on. They always hit the spot and keep me fuelled for the afternoon. Does every recipe blog have a version of these at the moment?! Yes, but if you try them, you'll know why!

what you'll need:
1 cup organic madjool dates roughly chopped
1 cup organic shredded coconut
1/2 cup organic cashew nuts roughly chopped
1/2 cup organic walnuts roughly chopped
1/4 cup organic raw cacao
2 tablespoons Indah organic coconut oil
additional shredded coconut (to finish)

how to make it:
Put all ingredients into a food processor and mix until mixture has a smooth consistency*
Remove mixture and hand roll into 8-10 individual balls
Lightly coat in coconut to finish
Keep refrigerated

*If you don't have a food processor, this recipe works just as well is you finely chop ingredients and mix together well.
